About Dr. Bartlett

Dr. Christopher Bartlett is a labor economist, and founder of Bartlett Economic Consulting.  After obtaining his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Texas in 2007, he had a brief career in academics, working as an Assistant Professor for Baylor University.  From 2008 through 2023, Dr. Bartlett served as a Principal and Senior Managing Economist for Litigation Analytics, Inc, heading up the firm's Dallas office and managing a team of Ph.D. and Masters level economists. Dr. Bartlett has provided expert testimony in hundreds of cases throughout the country.   Dr. Bartlett's research interests include the determinants of educational attainment, discrimination, career earnings progression, household production, and generally, questions involving human capital. He has a proven record of applying research in these areas in a forensic setting, including provide expert opinions on economic damages in matters involving personal injury and wrongful death.

About BEC

Bartlett Economic Consulting, LLC (BEC) was founded by Dr. Christopher Bartlett in 2023, with the goal of taking the generally accepted, peer reviewed economic literature, and applying it to economic questions arising in the real world, often providing expert opinions relating to economic damages. BEC specializes in the application of Human Capital Economics, Labor Economics, Price Theory, and other related fields in a forensic setting and to matters in litigation.  This typically involves addressing economic damages in cases involving personal injury and wrongful death.
